I was once told that the bison was the symbol of inner strength to the people native to North America.  Its large humped shoulders were symbolic of stored inner forces, the kind of forces that, when nurtured and applied in honorable ways could manifest abundance for the individual and his people.  I created this image as a symbol of some of the inner qualities I feel are most necessary for success in any venture…honesty, wisdom, determination and courage.       -Al Nelson Weitzel
