“Sharing the vision.”
A pair of wolves on a high mountain pass.  This image was an experimental blend of two different styles of work; the standard scratchboard approach of “Companions,” and the softer background style of “Achievement” and “Boundless.”   I’ve watched my style develop and change over the six years since I first encountered scratchboard and I found it gratifying to incorporate some old and new elements in one image.  And, of course, wolves are subjects that any wildlife artist’ loves to create.        -Al Nelson Weitzel
