“Saskatoon Riverbank” This special painting, created for the Saskatoon Wildlife federation, was an absolute blast to paint. Cougars have been spotted in the city a number of times over the past few years. Since cougars have always been my favorite cat, I just had to paint one with the Bessburough Hotel in the background. Doing most of the work on this piece at the Saskatoon Exhibition made it even more fun. -Al Nelson Weitzel |
